Chilli Peppers with Gouda
Ingredients (Makes 4)
70 gm. (Approximately two) Green Chilli
35 gm. Cream cheese (softened)
45 gm. Sausage meat (finely chopped)
25 gm. Gouda cheese (Grated)
Red chilli flakes
Slit the green chillies lengthwise, and get rid of the seeds and membranes. Be sure to wash your hand thoroughly afterwards.
Soften the cream cheese in a bowl and mix well with chopped sausages.
Lay the green peppers on a baking sheet, stuff in the cream cheese and sausage mixture, generously sprinkle Gouda cheese, finishing off with sprinkles of dried herbs and red chilli flakes.
Bake in a pre-heated oven 180 C (350 F) for about 12-15 minutes. Or until the cheese has melted and peppers are soft
Serve and eat immediately.
