Enhancing and cleansing ones’ soul value remains the most important struggle that we all go through, day in day out. Being constantly presented with tests, trials and tribulations and maintaining high levels of strength, patience and honesty require a lot of inner resolve. A beating conscience, an honest heart and clean food-filled stomach, amongst other things, all lend a hand in our soul detox. Whilst the soul fury creates a constant tsunami within, feeding ourselves with clean food is not that difficult!
Touting some ‘detox’ meals would be criminal here, for I think that this new lingo merely brings an image of pantry cupboards bereft of any substantial food, starvation stricken females and sad looking veggies that are about to be crushed into an unpalatable juices. Eating clean food, primarily means; foods with no preservatives, no High Fructose Corn Syrup, no refined sugar; no refined carbs, loads of greens and antioxidants, essential fats and huge chunks of resolve. Hence, we all agree that eating clean is more a lifestyle change rather than a diet shift.
