Sweet Potato Fries with Nigella Seeds
Ingredients (Serves 2-3 – as a side)
400 gm Sweet potato
3 tbsp. Olive Oil
2 tbsp. Corn flour (Cornstarch for some)
1 tsp. Paprika
1 tbsp. Nigella Seeds
Generous sprinkle of salt
Wash and dry sweet potato and cut 1” long pieces.
In a medium sized bowl tip in the sweet potatoes, oil, cornflour and seasoning including Nigella seeds, mix well using your hands.
Line a baking sheet with baking paper, uniformly put in the marinated fries making sure that none of them are heaped on top of each other.
Bake, in a pre heated oven 230 C (450F) for 15 minutes, take out, flip sides and bake again for another 10 minutes.
Should be eaten immediately. Will not store in the refrigerator.
