Whip cream until soft peaks form ( you can use a hand whisk or an egg beater to whip it up)
Slowly pour in condensed milk and keep whipping lightly.
Gently fold in the almond extract , followed by chopped cherries. Make sure you not to whip out the air while folding in the cherries
Tip the mixture in a container and freeze overnight
This ice cream can be served on its own or with any mix-ins of your choice
Ingredients (Makes 4 small servings)
1-cup thick yogurt
4 tbsp. Nutella
4 Oreo Cookies (Crushed)
¾ cup Strawberries (hulled and chopped)
½ tsp. Vanilla Essence
1 tbsp. Honey
Take a small bowl and tip in the yogurt mixing it with a hand whisk to get rid of any clumps. Next mix in the Nutella and mix well. Put the bowl in the refrigerator to chill until you prepare the rest.
Crush the Oreos in a food processor and set aside
Using the food processor or hand mixer again tip in your strawberries, vanilla and honey and blitz to your liking of chunkiness or smoothness.
For assembly take 4 glasses, and make layers of the crushed Oreos, yogurt mousse and strawberries just making sure that you finish with a strawberry layer.
These can be made a day or two in advance and will stay well refrigerated.
